Brandon, MB – The Westman ATV Association proudly reports an overwhelmingly successful presence at the recent Brandon Home and Leisure Show, where we engaged with the community and helped change perceptions about the sport of ATV riding. The three-day event, held over the weekend (April 11th, 12th and 13th), proved to be a pivotal moment for the association, resulting in the addition of eight new Family Memberships with lots more curious and the potential for new sponsorships.
“This weekend was not just about showcasing our love for ATV riding; it was about fostering a sense of community and understanding around the sport.” We aimed to break down barriers and misconceptions, and the positive feedback received reflects the efforts of our club members.
Throughout the event, attendees had the opportunity to learn about the various benefits of ATV riding, including outdoor adventure, community involvement, and environmental stewardship. The Westman ATV Association showcased safety measures and responsible riding practices to ensure that the sport remains enjoyable and accessible for everyone.
In addition to welcoming new members, the association also opened discussions with potential sponsors interested in supporting the growth of ATV riding in the region. “We are excited about the possibility of partnering with local businesses who share our vision for promoting responsible ATV use,” added Tyrus Cobb. “Their support will enable us to expand our outreach efforts and organize even more community-focused events in the future.”
