ATV MB hosted a board orientation seminar for all board members on February 15th. Kim Wozniak, Board Consultant, presented at this event and provided the board with education on proper board etiquette and procedural operations.
Rena Nayar, Off-Road Vehicle Trails Specialist with the provincial government, provided a report on information gathering and receiving feedback from the ATVMB board members. She also reported on trail funding and development within the province.
Education provides the building blocks that make a strong working board. We look forward to additional training seminars in the future, with the vision to host a full ATV conference. The conference would be open to club executive members and would offer education and trail development presentations. This is just one of the goals ATVMB is striving for.
