🚨 IMPORTANT RIDER UPDATE: Ward 4 Travel Ban 🚨
Attention ATV MB community! If you are planning to head out, please be aware of a new restriction in the Municipality of Alexander.
As of Friday, May 29, 2026, a Level 3 fire ban has been implemented as per By-Law No. 06/25. Please note that this restriction applies to WARD 4 ONLY.
🚫 What This Means for Off-Roaders:
- No Backcountry Riding: Motorized backcountry travel, including ATVs and other off-road vehicles, is strictly prohibited on Municipality of Alexander land.
- Wildfire Prevention: The fire risk is currently extremely high, and this ban is in place to help prevent wildfires from occurring.
- Fines in Effect: It is an offense to contravene any provisions of this By-Law. Any conviction is subject to a penalty ranging from $250.00 up to $1,000.00.
🌲 Other Level 3 Restrictions in Ward 4:
If you are staging or spending time in the area, please keep in mind that the fire ban also includes the following:
- No outdoor fires, including those in approved fire pits.
- The discharge of fireworks is not permitted.
- Sky lanterns are not permitted.
